NUM is not the India government. You can apply yourself on the official site for the government fee alone. Official site. NUM charges $9.99 for the time, and the decision is the government’s alone: nobody can promise approval or speed it up. The 30-day e-Tourist visa. April–June the government fee drops to US$10; NUM refunds the difference then. Other passports: apply on the official site.

Decision: Usually 3–5 working days; apply at least 4 days ahead. Valid: 30 days, double entry.
