NUM is not the Tanzania government. You can apply yourself on the official site for the government fee alone. Official site. NUM charges $9.99 for the time, and the decision is the government’s alone: nobody can promise approval or speed it up. US citizens get the multiple-entry visa at US$100; everyone else the single entry at US$50. Apply two weeks ahead.

Decision: Usually about 10 days. Valid: 90 days.
